Exploring Vietnam in 6 Days Featuring ( Hanoi, Sapa, Fansipan, Ba Na Hills and Hoian )

My boyfriend and I decided to take a trip to Vietnam to commemorate special occasions! So I’ll tell you about the places we went for 6 days in this amazing country!

On the night of December 18, 2019, we arrived in Noi Bai International Airport. A cab driver had already been waiting for us at the arrival gate from the airport, which we had pre-booked. We stayed at a pleasant hostel ($9/night) in the old area, close to a variety of restaurants and tourist attractions.

Day 1 -Hanoi Day Trip

We visited some places such as;

📍Ngoc Son Temple and Park

📍Train Street

We took a night train to Lao Cai, then a van to Sapa, after a day tour in Hanoi. The train costs $24, the van costs $5, and our guesthouse costs another $5.

Day 2 Sapa, Vietnam

📍Surelee Homestay – I highly recommend you to stay at Surelee Homestay in Hmong Village since she and her family are amazing hosts who treated us well and were always willing to help us. They have a gorgeous home, and our room was perfect and cozy, with an amazing view. They also provide trips such as visiting local tribes/villages, trekking, and hiking. PS. The only disadvantage of staying in the village is that if you need to go to the center, a taxi will charge you $20 back and forth and it takes 30 minutes to get there because of the roller coaster roads and it becomes even more dangerous if it is foggy and misty and you can’t see the way so I salute the drivers at this place.

Day 3 Fansipan Peak

The highest mountain in Indochina. It’s also called as the Rooftop of Indochina.

Day 4 Sapa – Hanoi by Bus ( Saoviet Tour $27 for 2 persons in one cabin ) 5 hours journey

We arrived in Hanoi around 16:00 and flew to Da Nang that evening on Vietjet Airlines. $26

Day 5 Ba Na Hills, Da Nang

We booked our tour on klook for $11 for the round-trip shared shuttle bus and $38 for the admission ticket plus lunch buffet in Ba na Hills ( per person )

After a day trip to the Ba Na Hills, we returned to Da Nang by taxi at an additional cost, which I was not happy about because we arrived late to the meeting point and the bus had already left. At 18:00, we left for Hoian, which is only 30 minutes by car from Da Nang City. We booked our taxi on klook for $13 USD, which is significantly less expensive than hailing a taxi on the street.

Day 6 Hoian

📍Sunrise Homestay $27 located in the ancient town and near to many restaurants and shops

My Birthday

My boyfriend surprised me with a dinner cruise.

The cruise lasted three hours, and the view of the lake in Hoian was breathtaking, especially at sunset; it was romantic and wonderful! Check out their website if you want to book a cruise.

I can say Vietnam is one of the most beautiful countries you should visit in Asia.

Overall, we spent $533 per person on this trip, which included flights, transportation, lodging, tours, food, souvenirs, and other personal expenses.

Be wary of scammers and thieves, and always keep an eye on your belongings and keep them close to you. Have a safe trip to Vietnam and enjoy the pips!!!!
